A Day In Dubrovnik

Think 1 day is too short to explore Dubrovnik? Think again!
Dubrovnik is a beautiful city in the south of Croatia. It is the city that Game of Thrones set designers based their ideas of King’s Landing off of.

What is there to do?

  • Visit Old Town Dubrovnik
    • Walk the City Walls: $20 per person, but allows you to spend all the time you want walking around the stone walls that engulf the entire old city. It is absolutely stunning.
    • Eat at a Michelin Star restaurant that sits higher than most buildings, giving you a view of the iconic red-orange roofs.
    • Find areas of the city where Game of Thrones scenes took place. You can pay for a guided GOT tour, or you can walk around on your own and see these places:
      • Walk of Shame Road:

﹡If you are driving through Croatia down to Dubrovnik, you will cross the border (twice!) on your way. The county of Bosnia & Herzegovina cuts into Croatia on your way from the north of Croatia down to the south. Do not let it deter you from seeing Dubrovnik! The border control was easy to go though and very efficient. All 4 stops (2 there & 2 back) added only 10-15 minutes to our drive.
